Unitary Synthesis with Fewer T Gates

This article, published in PRX Quantum, presents a new algorithm that implements n-qubit unitary operators with Clifford + T circuits using fewer T gates than the previous best result. The work extends the fundamental trade-off relationship between T gates and ancilla qubits, providing significant progress in the compilation of fault-tolerant quantum computers.
